The subject matter of the article is the methods, models and mechanisms of educational activities management of higher education institutions.. The goal of the work is to develop a mechanism for project-oriented management of the educational activities of higher education institutions . The following tasks were solved in the article: analysis of modern theories and practices of managing educational activities of higher education institutions; formation of the concept of educational management in the system of project-oriented management of higher education institutions; development of a mechanism for distributing tasks among units of a project-oriented institution of higher education. The need to implement a significant number of activities related to new specialties, educational programs, joint educational programs with foreign universities requires for their successful and timely implementation of the use by domestic higher education institutions of the project management methodology in the framework of educational activities. The following methods are used: project and program management methods, systems theory and systems analysis. The following results were obtained: a mechanism was developed for distributing tasks among units of a project-oriented institution of higher education, which allows you to organize the execution of tasks, providing an integrated review of network models of projects of higher educational institutions. The main types of projects in the framework of educational activities have been identified. The initiators of these projects have been identified. The complex of project teams corresponding to projects in the framework of educational activities is characterized. The indicator is proposed for assessing the degree of formation of a project-oriented institution of higher education, which, unlike existing approaches, is based on a clear assessment of the number of specific tasks with uniqueness in the system of a project-oriented institution of higher education. At the same time, development elements have uniqueness as well as projects covering ongoing activities.References
